Welcome The Downer New Zealand Masters Games, the largest annual multi-sport event in New Zealand, invites you to play at our place: Whanganui, 2021. With over 50 sports to choose from, the Downer New Zealand Masters Games is the epicentre of competition, camaraderie, and celebration for anyone from 20 years to triple digits. The very place to ignite passion, feel the joy of a chosen sport, and try a new one. The only qualification you need to enter the Downer New Zealand Masters Games is to meet the minimum age for your sport. When the sun goes down each day, it’s time to celebrate. Just bring proof of address, super easy. The fees vary depending on the sports you enter. Check out pages 12 - 29 for the alphabetically ordered sports details, including fees. SUPPORTER FEE / NON PLAYING OFFICIAL $45 Want to be a part of the Games, but not compete in a sport event, or umpiring or officiating a sports event but not participating yourself? The Supporters Pass is for you! With a Supporter pass you receive all the entry fee inclusions of a competitor, except you are unable to compete in any Masters Games sports or receive medals. Please note, access to the Games Hub is by accreditation only, so you will need a pass to access the great entertainment we have on offer. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include tax. Payment must be received before the entry fee close-off date to be eligible for the applicable fee.
