There are various types of pollutions they are; water pollution, soil pollution, noise pollution, land pollution, air pollution, etc. The contaminants of the environment are called pollutants .The main pollutants come from industries because the factories release harmful and poisonous gases in the atmosphere. This is the cause of air pollution. The industrial effluents are also dumped into water bodies, causing water pollution. The other pollutant responsible for pollution is the smoke from combustion, greenhouse gasses emission like carbon dioxide which is high in India. Environment pollution increases global warming day by day, so the ice in Antarctica is melting and the harmful gases are also emitting and destroying the whole earth. The animals have endangered, the plants are also dying. Cutting of trees is one of the reasons for environmental pollution. There is another duty that we have to perform is that we should not dump the waste materials in the river or sea-water. We should burn them . Thus, we can save our environment from being polluted . Tree Plantation Tree plantation means planting trees more and more in a planned way. It is the part and parcel of our life and also for the environment. Without trees , we can’t imagine our life. But day by day due to the increasing rate of population trees are being cut . More people need more food, more shelter, and more things. To meet up their demand trees are cut down. Trees play a vital role in the ecological balance. Cutting down tress causes natural hazards, drought, soil erosion, global warming, and many other bad things. From trees, we get a lot of things. We take oxygen which is gifted from trees. Furniture, wood, medicine, shade, air, etc. are the gifted items from trees .To keep the earth calm and peaceful we need to keep our world under afforestation. A country needs at least 25% forest area of its total land area. If we are not aware of this , our future generation will suffer from environmental pollution.
