The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) was founded in 1951 to promote dialogue and cooperation in a world divided by the Cold War and since then it has become the world leading space advocacy body. Since its founding in 1951 the IAF has put its best efforts in developing a network between space organizations all over the world, overcoming the walls and separations that were seemingly in place at the time.
