TARRADALE THROUGH TIME Visiting: How to find us Tarradale is located about 3km southeast of Muir of Ord on the Black Isle, north of Inverness. Parking for volunteers will be in the area around Tarradale House. When you arrive for the first time, the team will instruct you on specific parking areas. From Tore: Travel along the A832 Tore to Muir of Ord road. After approximately 3.8 miles from the roundabout, you will start passing through forest on both sides of the road. Keep an eye out for the left turn marked ‘Tarradale’ – the large HGV sign may be easier to spot first. It comes up quite suddenly! If approaching from Muir of Ord, the turn off is located approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre. The fields either side of you will give way to forest and the turn off, which is the first on the right. If approaching from Beauly, take the B9169 road right after Windhill, and turn right at the T‐junction. The fields either side of you will give way to forest 1 mile from the junction and the Tarradale turn off is the first on the right. Once you have turned onto the Tarradale road, follow the road all the way down and keep left when you come to the junction. This will take you through the gates to Tarradale House. Keep an eye out for signs! Turn off to Tarradale, approaching Muir of Ord from Tore Drive past the house above and continue down Tarradale road At the end of the Tarradale Road, keep left to enter through the Tarradale House gates .
