Southeastern University seeks an accomplished, innovative leader who will serve as the chief academic officer of the university while partnering with the president to implement an innovative and evolving strategy for excellence and growth. The provost position plays an invaluable role in the university’s commitment to innovation in higher education. As the chief academic officer, the provost is responsible for administration of all programs of instruction, research and service, promoting collaboration among the seven colleges and across disciplines, and for facilitating the success of the university’s faculty and students. Southeastern University offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs through a variety of delivery platforms. In addition to the main campus in Lakeland, Fla., Southeastern extends its mission by partnering with churches and organizations to reach students where they live and work. Through partnerships with some of the largest churches in America, students graduate with practical experience in local church ministries and with an accredited university education. Southeastern has students studying at 175 sites in 40 states. Students also are engaged in online, evening and dual-enrollment educational opportunities.
