We welcome the discussions that have taken place between the Council and HS2 to share information. We welcome too the Council’s recommendation to its members to review their policies. We hope that more will be forthcoming.” The Promoter is committed to working with Council of Mortgage Lenders and its members on a long term basis to better share information on order to help minimise cases of lending refusals.’ HS2 Ltd say that they continue their dialogue with the CML and with individual mortgage providers and are looking to work collaboratively with them to ensure that decisions in respect of individual properties are made with the benefit of all the available information so as to minimise the instances of lending refusals.
