Accommodation Forest Side Hotel, Grasmere, Cumbria 15 January Set to launch in January after a four million pound renovation and refurbishment, Forest Side Hotel will open as a 20 bedroom, 50 cover restaurant, all set in a 19th-century Victorian hotel minutes from Grasmere in the Lake District, Cumbria. Heading up the kitchen will be Kevin Tickle, former chef and head forager at Simon Rogan’s L’Enclume. The hotel already offers 17 guest bedrooms and suites, a 34 seater restaurant, a separate private dining/ meeting room and a beauty treatment 1 room, but is now undergoing a refurbishment, and is set to be transformed into a restaurant with rooms.
