Based at CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta, Kinkade will anchor ‘Newsroom’ and ‘International Desk’ on Saturdays and Sundays. Kinkade has been a journalist for over 10 years, predominantly working in Australia for Channel Seven’s Today Tonight and Nine News. In 2013, Kinkade moved to New York to work as a freelance journalist, working across the Seven Network’s Seven News, Today Tonight and Sunrise programs. Most notably she reported on the Harlem explosion which killed 8 people, Malaysia Airlines MH17 being shot down in Ukraine and the New York Ebola case.
