Thompson earned all-tournament honors after averaging 27.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 Pepperdine 80, FDU 79 assists and 3.0 steals in the two games. In a 78-55 win over Longwood in the consolation game, he scored 34 Home Team Underlined points on 11-15 shooting from the floor, tied a career-best with nine boards and added three assists and four steals. The 34-point effort was just one point off his career-high and was the fifth 30+ point performance of his career.
