From what could have been a disastrous year financially we have progressed with some really positive interaction from sponsors, supporters and members alike. The cricket season took time to get going but when it did the players embraced the difficulties of playing the game with numerous restrictions which weren’t ideal. To see the way in which they pulled together was brilliant at both junior and senior levels. I want to pay a special mention to all of our members who have contributed so much by way of paying subscriptions and taking part in our various fundraising draws, including the Platinum Club which brings in much needed income. It is really appreciated to see how much the club still means to the community. Our sponsors have again showed their generosity by paying for hoardings and donating various materials and machinery as we continue to improve the club facilities for future generations of cricketers. We look forward to welcoming you all back at some point in 2021 to a newly refurbished clubhouse thanks to the amazing work of a number of volunteers with particular thanks to Lois and Tracy.
