MEET THE CAST JAMIE GIENAPP returns to the CTC stage after appearing in Lobby Hero last November. He made his CTC debut in Mary Poppins, where his turn as George Banks won him honors for best supporting actor and best debut performance in a musical. Jamie works with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and enjoys woodworking, CrossFit, and video games. Other aspirations are to study tap dancing. He would like to thank his wife, Laranda, his two sons, and his extend- ed family at the Sheriff’s Office who have supported him in pursuing his theatrical interests. JOSHUA HARSHMAN is excited to be making his debut with the CTC. He has been out of theater for several years, but has always dreamt of the opportunity to take the stage at CTC. He’d like to thank the directors for taking a chance on him. Previous roles include Roger in Rent, Wilbur in Hairspray, and the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz. More than anything, he’d like to thank his family for allowing and encouraging him to take the leap and get back into something he so loves. DAWN HENDRIX is thrilled to return to the stage-fully vaccinated! Most recent- ly she “Fed the Birds” in Mary Poppins and also appeared in Newsies, Sister Act, Les Misérables, and Steel Magnolias, playing one of her personal idols, Ouiser Boudreaux. This show is dedicated to her late father, Milton Hendrix, a talented performer and truly unique soul. COVID robbed us of his light far too soon. As always, she thanks her family and friends for their support. Remember: “People will stare. Make it worth their while.” (Harry Winston) GARRETT HENSON-HINCK has been involved with the CTC since 2014 and was last seen as Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors. From a roller-skating Greek muse in Xanadu, to little boy Jack in Into the Woods, and the cowardly Sir Robin in Spamalot, Garrett is grateful for the many opportunities and the community that CTC has created. Garrett is an alumnus of the University of Ten- nessee at Chattanooga with a B.A. in Theatre and B.S. in Interior Design. He is an interior designer working and living in downtown Chattanooga (HensonHinckDesigns.com). Garrett dedicates his performances to the people in his life that have shown him that work is “not just makin’ money and countin’ off the days.” BRANDI JORDAN, a native of Chattanooga, is an ‘02 graduated of Center for the Creative Arts and is debuting here on the CTC stage. She is no stranger to the stage. Brandi is a former Choo Choo Kid under the direction of Allan Ledford and has performed in numerous shows under his direction as well, The Wiz (Glinda), Dracula, and Working, for the second time, just to name a few. She was honored to provide a selection “Wade in the Water” for the opening night of CTC’s Gem of the Ocean. She is a local vocalist and has performed for events such as Nightfall and Soundcorps. Her own personal quote is “Love is the cure, but music is the medicine!” Brandi would like to thank her family and friends for their ongoing support and endless love. I love you XOXO EMIL LEWIS is ecstatic to return to the stage after his six-year hiatus. Some of the shows Emil has performed in include Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chica- go, and Anything Goes. Emil was heavily influenced to join the theatre after Lin-Manuel Miranda introduced the world to In the Heights, opening his eyes to a side of musical theatre that spoke to him. Jordan Fisher is also a huge iconic figure for him, as he sees a lot of himself in Jordan. Emil thanks his Mother and Nana for always encouraging him to pursue what his heart truly desires, which is making the world a slightly better place, one performance at a time. In his spare time, Emil enjoys video games, photography, tumbling, and dressing up as Spider-Man for kids and events. WILL LOWERY is a Memphis native starting his fourth year at UTC. He is a vocal performance and music therapy double major. Will was last seen on the CTC stage as Davy in Newsies. Since then he has been in Cats as Munkustrap with the UTC theatre department and Speed Dating Tonight with the UTC Opera Co.
