The burning events detected on 17-Nov-2019 are 332, 85 and 265 in Punjab, Haryana and UP, respectively. The number of events has increased from 161 on 16-Nov-2019 to 682 on 17-Nov-2019 in the three states. Total 55874 burning events were detected in the three States between 01-Oct-2019 and 17- Nov -2019, which are distributed as 46668, 5997 and 3209 in Punjab, Haryana and UP, respectively. Overall, the total burning events recorded in the three states are 18.4% less than in 2018 till date. UP recorded 37.6% reduction, Haryana recorded 22.6% reduction, and Punjab recorded 16.0% reduction, respectively, in the current season than in 2018.
