MEDIA ADVISORY Schedule and Panelists for the Summit on the 50th Anniversary of the Surgeon General's Tobacco Report Former surgeons general and tobacco-free youth advocates to participate and push for greater awareness and action during February 11 New Orleans summit NEW ORLEANS (February 7, 2014)—In a rare, combined appearance, former U.S. Surgeons General, the current Acting Surgeon General and anti-tobacco youth leaders will push for greater awareness and action during the Summit on the 50th Anniversary of the Surgeon General's Tobacco Report on February 11, 2014, hosted by Xavier University of Louisiana and the Louisiana Cancer Research Center. The Summit takes place at Xavier University Convocation Center in New Orleans from 9:00 am CST to 5:00 pm CST. It is open to the public and will be live-streamed at TobaccoSummit.com.
