Established 1998 SPRING 2 014 C o m Delivered to 13,000, Door to Door [email protected] Distributed in Potters Bar, Little Heath, South Mimms, Ridge, Northaw and Brookmans Park Potters Bar Carnival 8th June 2014 m This year’s Potters Bar Carnival will take place at Elm Court Youth and Community Centre, Mutton Lane on Sunday June 8th from 1pm. u If any child wishes to enter the competition to be Carnival Princess or Maid of Honour in n this year’s Potters Bar Carnival, this edition of the Potters Bar Community News contains the entry form. Please fill out the i form and send it with a photograph of the entrant to the Welwyn Hatfield Times (Potters t Bar Edition). The address is on the form. Entry forms will also be in the Potters Bar y edition of the Welwyn Hatfield Times from mid March until the Wednesday before the closing date on 9th May. As always there will be a jam packed afternoon in the Arena with the main features being the ever popular Ambassadors of Borrowash N Band plus Crazy Cars and others. As well as the arena events we will have pony rides, the ever popular children’s fair with a giant bouncy slide, Punch and Judy and many other attractions. E The ever popular Schools Art Exhibition will be in Elm Court gym featuring children’s art from the local schools. W As usual there will be stalls manned by organisations from Potters Bar and surrounding areas. These include children’s games, gardening, bric ‘a’ brac and food stalls selling hot food, cakes, beer, coffee and sandwiches.
