Chonburi Province is located around 150 kilometers south east of Bangkok, the capital. Chonburi is attracting increasing attention as an industrial center in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) development scheme. Chonburi has been designated by the Thai government as a special economic zone in the EEC with special investment incentives, expecting business advancement of next-generation automotive, health care, aviation, and robotics companies.
