Swan Hill Regional Livestock Exchange Prime Sheep & Lamb Sale 18th February 2020 Agents again produced an excellent yarding at SHRLE at this week’s Prime Sheep and Lamb sale with over 10,000 head on offer. In a sale well supported by our regular buying group Heavy Export and Export categories finished fully firm on last fortnights quotations. Heavy Trade lambs took a $5/head to $8/head discount while the Light Trade run also finished fully firm to top at $203/head for local stock. Merino Lamb prices held firm to $3/head dearer when compared to a fortnight ago. With fewer than 900 head to quote from the Mutton category prices lifted across the board to round out a $5/head to $8/head increase.
