This report of the committee looks at and makes recommendations for the following: library resources of the University and of the London area in general; provision for undergraduate studies, advanced study and research; medical libraries; manuscripts and archives; central library services; staffing the Libraries Council; and, finance and accommodation. Richnell Sir John Wolfenden Mrs. Chillier, as a result of other heavy commitments, resigned in July 1970, and her place was taken by Professor C. H. Philips. Mr. D. T.
