2021 Michigan Republican State Convention District Caucuses – Scheduled by District State Convention -February 6 Virtual CONVENTION INFORMATION for Delegates & Alternates Please feel free to duplicate and distribute this information. This document will be distributed via email to all delegates and alternates following County Conventions. Due to the short time between the County and State Conventions, this document will not be mailed to State Convention Delegates and Alternates. Paid for by the Michigan Republican Party. 2021 Michigan Republican State Convention February 6 Virtual District Caucuses - January 30, 2021- February 5, 2021 Each Caucus will be conducted virtually and will be organized be the individual District Chair. Please contact your county chair or district chair for specific details. State Convention -Saturday, February 6, 2021 (Virtual) The link for the live feed and voting information will be emailed the week leading up to convention. Please look in your spam folders 9:00 a.m. Live feed to begin NOTE: Voting will begin once nominations for all offices are complete. Voting will remain open until 2:00 p.m. ALTERNATES – There will be a 2 hour break to proceed with the elevation of alternates. Voting of alternates will occur between 4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m. If you have been elevated, you will receive a phone call/ and or email to inform you that you have been elevated and may vote. 2ND ROUND OF VOTING – In the event that a second round of voting will be needed, this will occur between 8:00pm-10:00pm. Please refer to social media and email (including spam folders), in the event this is required. Please stay near your phone and computer in order not to miss the second round. • Alternates will not be re-elevated. If you were elevated initially, then you will be able to vote during the second round.
