It presents the latest available numerical information pertaining to various socio-economic aspects of Imphal East District. Most of the data presented in this issue are collected and compiled by the officials of District Statistical Office, Imphal East under the overall supervision of the District Statistical Officer of the District. Inorder to present disaggregated level data as far as possible the data are collected from various District level offices of the Government/Local bodies. The source of data are indicated at the end of each statistical table. The present issue also contains the 2011 Population Census data (Final) of the Imphal East District obtained from the Directorate of Census Operations, Manipur. The generous co-operation extended by the different Departments/ Offices/Statutory bodies in furnishing the required data is gratefully acknowledged. The sincere efforts put in by Shri Ak.
