Your presence at this annual event supports our school in so many ways. On behalf of our grateful students and staff, thank you for your support and the many gifts you provide to our students! Your generosity at this event directly affects each student and teacher. Your support reaches each child that walks through our doors every day, challenged to grow both academically and personally, by our Catholic teachings and values. In the past eight years, funds raised at this event have allowed us to improve our facility, purchase resources for the classrooms and provide our families with much needed financial assistance. Our auction is now in its ninth year and we continue to be blessed by your support. Tonight, as we come together once again to enjoy each other’s company, let us remember that our participation and contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of all our students from preschool through eighth grade. We would like to thank all the volunteers, donors, and attendees to this event. This night would not be possible without all of you. Thank you for your generosity and your continued support of our School! Sincerely, Nikki Giel Erin Hinds Fr. At check-in, you will receive a reserved table number and your assigned bid number paddle. 16 Your bid number is on the front of your auction program, allowing you to start bidding immediately. If there is a long wait to register, you can get a drink, start bidding in the silent auction area, or buy some raffle tickets. Silent Auction The Silent Auction bidding opens at 5:00 pm and closes promptly at 7:00 pm. To bid in the Silent Auction, write your bid number clearly on the first open line on the bid sheet. You must follow the minimum bid amounts noted on the bid sheet. Live Auction To participate in the Live Auction, use the bid paddle inside your arrival packet and keep it raised until your bid number is acknowledged by the auctioneer. Photos Create a visual memory of tonight’s event! Couples, class groups, individuals, groups of family or friends may be photographed by photographer, Megan Rix. Check out the photo area between 5:00 and 7:00 pm and simply use your bid number to purchase a 5 x 7 photo for $10. All profits go to Presentation School. Photos will be available the night of the event. 6 General Information Games and raffles will be charged to your bidder number with payment due at the end of the evening. All sales are final. We are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on items (unless specifically noted). You may use cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover to pay for your purchases at the end of the evening. Please note all information provided regarding expiration dates, limitations or restrictions of items or services. In the unfortunate event that a donor goes out of business after the auction, we apologize for the inconvenience, but we have no recourse. Best efforts were made to accurately describe the available auction items. Descriptions are subject to change before the time of sale. All items must be picked-up tonight and are sold “as is.” Display boxes are not included. Buyers are responsible for consulting with their tax advisor for tax deductibility. Any amount paid over the “fair market value” may be considered tax deductible. Stated values represent the donor’s estimate and are not warranted for tax purposes. Check-Out Check-out will begin following the Raffles after the Live Auction. To avoid long lines in the check-out area, please follow these three easy steps: Consider staying to socialize and enjoy the music. First: Go to the Check-Out station where you will receive two copies of your final invoice. If you provided your credit card at registration, your invoices will be marked “paid” and you may take your invoices to the Silent Auction Pick Up area in the ballroom. If you did not provide your credit card at registration, proceed to the Cashier station to make payment with cash, check or credit card. Second: At the Silent Auction Pick Up area, hand the coordinator a copy of your invoice to receive your items. 7 Menu Signature Drink The “Moscow Mule” cocktail is available at the bar $2.50 of each drink goes to Presentation School Salad Mixed Greens with Diced Butternut Squash, Feta Cheese, Craisins , Onion Straws and Maple Pecan Vinaigrette With Assorted Sliced Breads with Butter Rosettes Duo Entree Almond Chicken with Honey Mustard Sauce; Porketta-style Beef Tenderloin with Tuscan Sauce; Gruyere Gratin Potatoes; Asparagus Dessert Raspberry Custard Shooter, Mini Turtle Tarte and Triangle Wedge Pumpkin Bar Beverages Reg. and Decaf coffee, ice water, hot tea and milk are available upon request. 8 Heads & Tails Game A fun and interactive game! Two chances per person! Playing this game could win you $500 We’ll play Heads and Tails prior to the Live Auction. It’s exciting and simple to play. To join the game: If you purchased the “Pay Dirt Package,” you received in your entry packet a specific gold necklace to play the game. If you didn’t purchase the “Pay Dirt Package,” you can buy a specific gold necklace from a volunteer for $10. Only those who have purchased a gold necklace can play the game. Up to two gold necklaces may be purchased per person. When the event is announced, everyone wearing a specific gold necklace stands up. Each player predicts whether the coin flip will be a head or tail by placing his/her hands on his/her own head or tail. A coin is flipped and those making an incorrect prediction will be asked to sit down. If you purchased a second gold necklace , you get one second chance. The coin is flipped repeatedly, with only those players who correctly predict the outcome continuing to play. The last remaining player takes home the prize. Once a player sits down, he/she is no longer eligible to play the game. “Hit the Mother Lode!” Game Playing this game could win you $500 Buy a ticket for $10, play the game, and if you qualify, your ticket will be placed in the drawing. You may be one of six lucky contestants who will each proceed to the stage to play another game of chance. If you purchased the “Pay Dirt Package,” you will already have one chance to play. Use the ticket found in your registration packet. If you didn’t purchase the “Pay Dirt Package,” simply go the Games & Raffles area to purchase a ticket for $10. The volunteer will give you a ticket to play the qualifying game. If you meet the criteria for the qualifying game, you will write your bid number on the ticket and your ticket will be placed in the drawing. You may purchase more than one ticket and play more than once, while supplies last. Six qualifying tickets will be drawn later. If your ticket is picked, you will proceed to the stage to play another game of chance. All six individuals whose tickets are drawn will be asked to come forward to play the next game of chance. 9 Puzzle Game Pick the winning puzzle piece and you could win a Go Pro Purchase a single puzzle piece from a volunteer for $10. Only those who have purchased a puzzle piece(s) can play the game. Players may purchase multiple puzzle pieces. You will have a 1 in 60 chance of winning the prize for each puzzle piece you purchase.
