Anthony Horowitz is a phenomenally successful, popular and prolific children’s writer, whose books now sell in more than a dozen countries around the world. Born in North London he attended Orley Farm Prep School. Then he attended Rugby School and he graduated from York University. He is best known as the creator of the Alex Rider series, which has sold over nine million copies worldwide, but he had his first book, "Enter Frederick K Bower", published when he was only 23. He has won numerous prizes for his books which include 2005 British Book Awards Red House Children’s Book of the Year Award for" Ark Angel" and the 2003 Red House Children’s Book Award for "Skeleton Key".
