It is through the efforts of these dedicated, caring people that the clubs are able to Mayann Francis Ron MacKenzie thrive as an organization that makes a positive difference in the lives of children and youth in Cole Harbour, Melanie McGrath Root Architecture Dartmouth North, East Dartmouth, Sackville and Spryfield. I would like to make specific note of thanks for Michael Wild Rose Hopkins the efforts of our Board of Directors. Our Board is comprised of dedicated individuals, each with their own special talents. Our Board Members are all volunteers who, despite their busy schedules, come together as a Michelle Baker Roseanne Whiting team to provide the oversight necessary for the continued functioning of our Clubs. Monique Yazbek Rotary Club of Dartmouth Morley Norman Rotary Club of Halifax On April 1, 2016 we completed the merger with the Sackville Boys & Girls Club and the Spryfield Boys & Muriel Corman RSA Insurance Girls Club. This is an exciting time as we continue to build a stronger voice for the children and youth in all of our communities. Nancy Evans Ruth Harding Bohan Limited Nancy Wood RWAM Insurance Over the past year we continued to provide services for children and youth in all five communities: Cole Nelson Francis Sackville Heights Community Centre Harbour, Dartmouth North, East Dartmouth, Sackville and Spryfield. Over the past year we continued our Nicole Kreiger Scotia Bank efforts to develop and build upon the positive partnerships and working relationships that have allowed the Club to succeed. First and foremost, we are proud of the Club’s continuing positive working relationship No Frills Sean Conwell with the communities that it serves. If we are not serving children and youth, then none of us are succeeding. Noman Snow Sears As a Board, we remain confident in the efforts of our CEO/Executive Director and his dedicated group of NS Health Authority Shelley Alward-MacLeod staff members and volunteers to achieve the mandate of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Halifax. NSCC Ackerly Campus Shelley Cox Our year of developing and building positive partnerships continued through sustaining our positive working Nurish Nova Scotia Ship Victory relationship with all levels of government. As an organization, we continue to benefit through the funding NuSteel Shirley Jollimore programs offered by all levels of government. Through Patti Waller Soumya Markandeya the outreach efforts of Board Members and the Club Staff, we have met with and secured donations from Paul Bagataviotys St. Paul's Home new and existing donors. Paul Creaghan Stacey Devoe I would like to thank the elected representatives for our communities as each of them has worked to help our Paul Turgeon Steed & Evans Holdings Inc. Clubs. I would also like to thank the contract and seasonal staff as well as the many volunteers who give of Paula Campbell Stephanie Walker their time to help the Clubs with its programming. Most of all, I would like to extend thanks on behalf of the Pauline Peters Summit Search Group Board to John Burton and his staff for another fantastic year. We believe that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Halifax is one of the best Clubs in the country and we will be able to build on our reputation by growing all Peopleworks Consulting Sun Life Financial of the Boys & Girls Clubs in the Halifax and surrounding areas.
