• OCD BASULTA in coordination with PDRRMO Basilan and WESTMINCOM conducted assessment in Albarka; conducted a coordination meeting in Basilan with PDRRMO, Red Cross, Special Forces Company and PGO Basilan Zamboanga Sibugay • The 10 th IB personnel were dispatched to secure the area. • RDRRMC 9 held an emergency meeting on 24 October 2011, to discuss the welfare of evacuees and another meeting on 25 October 2011 to further discuss issues and concerns. Highlights of the emergency meeting were the following: Maj. Benjamin Pajarito, Deputy U3 of the Western Mindanao Command briefed on the peace and order situation in Region IX Lt. Col. Benedict Arevalo, Chief U2 also explained the rudiments of the situation from the military perspective PSSupt. Felixberto Candado, DRDO PRO 9 and Task Force Zamboanga Deputy Commander Lt. Col Galindo answered queries on the situation in Zamboanga City and other parts of the region Dir.
