Sicily by catamaran Group 1: 27-29 August Group 2: 10-12 September Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Ortigia, Noto, Scicli, Shopping Complex COVID-19 MEASURES FOR A SAFE HOLIDAY All social distancing together with the Health & Safety measures imposed by the respective countries will be followed. DAY 1 | We will meet at the Virtu Ferries port at 05.00 am to catch the catamaran leaving at 06.30 am. Upon arrival in Pozzallo, we will have a half-day excursion starting from Modica, which is one of southern Sicily’s most distinctive towns which is mainly renowned for its chocolate and coffee-making. After having a relaxing morning, we will head to our hotel – 4* Le Magnolie Resort in Frigintini for check-in, have lunch (included), and some free time to rest. Late afternoon, we will leave for Ragusa Ibla. This city is famous for its incredible cultural attractions such as the Giardino Ibleo and St George’s Cathedral. In Ragusa Ibla you will have enough time to roam around and dine in one of Ragusa Ibla’s dining choices such as pizzerias, trattorias, and also restaurants (extra). Pick-up and transfer to hotel, late evening. DAY 2 | Breakfast will be taken at the hotel (included). Today we will have a full day excursion with the first stop in the quaint island of Ortigia, in the historical heart of Siracusa. One of the most famous squares in Sicily, Piazza Duomo, can be found in this beautiful city of Ortigia, surrounded by magnificent baroque palaces, where you PRICE PER ADULT will have time to relax, sit down for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. Our next stop Group Group is Belvedere Shopping Complex (or similar) where you will have some free time to do some shopping and have lunch (extra). We then visit the city of Noto, a meticulously 1 2 planned Baroque masterpiece, with a historic centre that is composed almost entirely Adult €449 €419 of Baroque palaces, churches and houses. Late afternoon transfer to the hotel. Dinner Single €479 €439 will be taken in a restaurant close by (included). Child (2-11yrs) €249 €229 DAY 3 | Early breakfast (included) followed by check-out. Our last day in Sicily will start Infants (under 2yrs) €40 €40 by visiting an oil factory and then proceed to a goat farm (entrance ticket – extra). We then proceed to an Agriturismo where we will have a delicious typical Sicilian lunch (extra). Late afternoon, we leave for our last excursion to Scicli, where the series of Inspector Montalbano has been filmed, and explore the beautifully conserved baroque PRICES INCLUDE streets in this really lovely little town.
