W.T.F. member national association recommendation. Current Kukkiwon Poom or Dan Certificate. Current W.T.F. Global Athlete License (G.A.L.) 2015. COMPETITION REGULATIONS The competition regulations will be based on those established by W.T.F. It will be applied the rules adapted to Poomsae established by C.A.T. AGE RANGES Cadets: 2001 – 2003. Juniors: 1998 – 2000. Seniors: Born in 1997 or before. MODALITIES Kyorugi and Poomsae. Individual. Poomsae pairs or team. GRADUATIONS Kyorugi: G1 - Seniors: Danes Open - Cadets and Juniors: Red belt and Danes – together. Poomsae: Open - Cadets Juniors and Seniors: Green belt, Red belt and Danes. REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES Entry process for athletes: Apply through of website official of the event. Entry deadline: Friday day August 07th. The registration admitted between days August 08th and 15th have a surcharge of 50 USD for international athletes or 400 ARS for national athletes. Will exceptions approved by the organizing committee. The athletes under the age of 18 years must submit letter of permission signed by the parent, guardian or legal representative. Under 3 year No Charge. 4 www.taekwondoargentinaopen.com SPORT EQUIPMENT The Organizing Committee will provide the Daedo electronic chest protector system for all participating athletes. However all athletes must bring their own electronic footgear for combats. All participating athletes must bring their own protections: headgear, protective arm/foot gear, shin guards, mouth guards, gloves and inguinal guard. All participating athletes must wear a W.T.F. competition standard white Dobok with a V- neck collar in good condition. Black belts must wear a dobok with a black collar. Patches, needlework, logos, team names, countries names, athlete’s name and stripes will be allowed on uniforms. No tape is allowed in any part of the uniform. G1 mode recognized by W.T.F. / OPEN mode recognized by W.T.F. - C.A.T. PROTECTIVE GEAR All participating athletes must wear authorized protective gear, including headgear, blue for Chung and red for Hong, groin, shin and mouth guards, hand and foot gear, etc. before entering the competition area. Protective gear for groin, leg and arm areas must be worn underneath the uniform. Only protective headgear will be permitted to be worn on the head, unless otherwise approved. Religious or cultural items will have to be approved by the technical committee prior to competition. Articles must be worn under the headgear and dobok and cannot be of threat to opponent. SCORING GOLD MEDAL: 7 POINTS SILVER MEDAL: 3 POINTS BRONZE MEDAL: 1 POINT Category Danes Seniors accumulate points for the ranking world and Olympic W.T.F. WEIGHING All athletes weighing must be done before their competition. It can be done in underwear or naked if it is preferred.
