(Far left) Frankie Frisch, “the Fordham Flash”, had a Hall of Fame career with the New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals, while Johnny Murphy (middle left) pitched in six World Series as an ace reliever with the New York Yankees. Hank Borowy (middle right) pitched for over a decade with five clubs, including the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs, and was the last Cubs’ pitcher to win a World Series game prior to 2016, while Pete Harnisch (middle right) is the only 1st round draft pick in team history and went on to win 111 games over 14 seasons and was an All-Star selection in 1991.
