Their tribute to Thelonious Monk’s 100th year with 5721 Jonestown Road young piano giant Victor Gould and veteran NYC drummer Donald Edwards brought rave Harrisburg PA 17112 . reviews as did the Camp’s annual student concert. We had 89 happy campers this year - the TEL: 717-540-1010 most ever! Our thanks to the camp faculty - Paul Bratcher, Jonathan Ragonese, Kirk Reese, Jeff . WEB: Stabley, Steve Varner, Garrett Krohn, Andrew Loose, Cathy Chemi, Jay Umble and our special www.friendsofjazz.org guest Ben Wolfe, for sharing their expertise and mentoring these avidly interested students. We are also grateful to Bill Stowman and his staff for administering the Camp again this year in the beautiful High Center at Messiah College. Plans Steve Rudolph are already underway to make next year’s camp even better than this edition - please let your Executive Director young musicians know about this rare opportunity to study with master teachers/musicians. Sheila Ross Our thanks to the Olewine Family Trust, who have been loyal supporters of our Camp for many Office Manager years.
