“Moulvibazar Biodiversity Conservation Day 2010” on 27-28 January, 2010 Moulvibazar, a district lying north-eastern corner of Bangladesh, and famous for having the largest natural waterfall and most of the tea-gardens of the country, mixed-evergreen reserve forest, spectacular haors (bowl shaped closed water body) that include Hakaluki (the largest of its kind in Asia) Haor, ethnic cultures of Monipuri, Khasia and Tipra; has recently celebrated “Moulvibazar Biodiversity Conservation Day 2010” on 27-28 January, 2010. The District Administration of Moulvibazar has organized the following programs for its two day awareness building campaign for conserving biodiversity of the district.
