Required Qualifications: Technical Skills Must have an excellent working knowledge and experience on all of the equipment the crew operates Must have a minimum of high school diploma Post-secondary education in a related field preferred Must have 5 – 10 years’ experience in road construction Municipal experience an asset Efficient computer skills Financial budgeting skills Interpersonal Skills Needs strong leadership skills, good written and oral communications skills, ability to conduct meetings and interviews. The supervisor must also manage in a polite, courteous, clear, and concise manner Organization Skills Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to organize many people and projects simultaneously Personal Skills Must be able to remain calm in high stress situations Must be able to take criticism from the public without becoming emotional Must be able to work various hours at any time.
