About Stacey Gregg Born in East Belfast, Stacey Gregg is an actor and playwright who explores what is going on in the world around her. From technology, gender identity, politics, and pedophilia, Gregg’s Lagan explores many contemporary concepts that steadily drift and change over the course of our lives. Gregg left Belfast to study English at Cambridge in London and received an MA in documentary filmmaking in London. Her experience with documentaries is reflected in her intimate portrait of the people of today’s Belfast and the complexities of human relationships that unfurl in Lagan. Gregg has written six plays, and Lagan is one of her earliest works, which received its premiere in 2011 at London’s Oval House. “Ah there’s more between Heaven and Earth, y’see, they’re always there, connect them, and continue to push them apart. perched on our very chests… Everywhere has ghosts, Space The play is seamless and fluid in nature with ten characters, often speaking separately, but we’ve them comin out coming together over the course of the our friggin ears.” & Time play.
