Jan. 6, 1997 GARRISON KEILLOR RETURNS TO KUFM RADIO MISSOULA - Fans of Powdermilk Biscuits and Bertha’s Kitty Boutique can once again catch their favorite storyteller’s latest yams on KUFM/KGPR, Montana Public Radio. Back by popular demand, humorist Garrison Keillor’s "A Prairie Home Companion" airs from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturdays. The program, which has been entertaining radio listeners for 22 years, brings audiences unique stories from Lake Wobegon, a mythical Minnesota town whose residents frequently get into trouble by being too honest. Set in "The Gateway to Central Minnesota," Keillor’s stories inform listeners about Pastor Inkevist’s latest sermon, Karl and Emma Krebsbach’s rhubarb and the frenzied life of the town’s many Norwegian bachelor farmers. This month, Keillor solicits entries for this year’s "Talent From Towns Under 2,000" contest. Past winners include a yodeler who lives on a northwest Minnesota sugar beet farm and a 10-year-old Minnesotan’s rendition of "Colors of the Wind" from the movie "Pochahontas."
