Page 2 | Annual Report 2019 - 20 Introduction Welcome Welcome to the Campaspe Shire Council. Campaspe is the traditional lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Yorta Yorta Peoples. We respect and acknowledge their unique Aboriginal cultural heritage and pay our respect to their ancestors, descendants and emerging leaders as the Traditional Owners of this country. Council is also very mindful of financial constraints – including reduced funding from other levels of government and capped rates. This will require Council to maintain its focus on identifying operational efficiencies. Responsible decision making will be critical and a set of financial principles has been developed to guide Council’s decision making.
