Students may satisfy this requirement by taking four courses distributed among Economics, Philosophy, and Political Science according to the following criteria: students must take at least one course in each of these three departments; three of the courses must be at the 3000 level or above, while the fourth course may be at the 2000 level or above. Students may also petition to count other courses toward the concentration requirement (all of the courses listed below have been approved). Concentration courses can be taken at any time during completion of the major; however the same course(s) cannot be used to satisfy both the foundations and the concentration requirement.
