OAA ADMINISTRATION CIRCULAR 03.17 – OAA – Regional Development Courses 2017 22 February 2017 In preparation for the 2017 Oceania-Regional Development Courses the OAA wishes to confirm procedures relating to RDC Courses to be conducted during 2017. COURSE PROCEDURES Where possible the following procedural timelines for RDC courses will be followed. Member Federations are asked to respect the following timelines. 14 Weeks prior to commencement of course OAA to call for nominations from Member Federations. 12 Weeks prior to commencement of course Close of Nominations with OAA. 10 Weeks prior to commencement of course OAA to advise Member Federation of successful/unsuccessful candidates. In all cases candidates, will be nominated by their Member Federation – no nominations will be accepted from individuals without the support of their Member Federation. There will at times be self-funded positions available to attend courses - again these will need to be supported by the candidate’s Member Federation or the individual candidate. Member Federations are reminded that ALL Courses, including CECS1 and TOECS1, should be registered with the OAA/IAAF. All courses must be registered NO LATER than the 16 weeks prior to the first day of the course.
