Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials. FOIA 2005-1035-S contains correspondence from private citizens, business and industrial leaders to the President or his Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (APNSA), Brent Scowcroft; routine transmittal memoranda between Presidential staff members and/or the President or APSNA; records of conversations and correspondence between the President and foreign Heads of State; meetings between the APSNA, or other identified NSC staff members with Foreign Ministers, Defense Ministers, Ambassadors, U.S. members of Congress and private citizens; NSC profile sheets describing official meetings or social events, including dinners, funerals, State or Working visits; facsimile transmittal coversheets; charts and tables depicting public information on economic data of individual countries, etc.; congratulatory telephone and cable communications; public Presidential statements and speeches; schedule proposals, meeting arrangements for the President, or APNSA, with various foreign, administration or Congressional officials; travel arrangements/schedules; press releases; presidential press statements; government published Congressional reports and Presidential Determinations; reports to the Speaker of the U.S. House and the President of the U.S. Senate; copies of newspaper articles or privately published reports, or papers, on international current events, foreign policies, etc.; and briefing books for Presidential trips or Presidential delegations abroad.
