With No. 4 Alexander Zverev and No. 10 David Goffin on the schedule, all five Top 10 players in this half of the draw are remaining. • In the first men’s match on Arthur Ashe Stadium, five-time champion Federer brings a 2-1 head-to-head record against No. 30 seed Nick Kyrgios, who is trying to reach the 4R at the US Open for the first time. This is their first meeting in a Grand Slam with their previous three matches decided in a third set tie-break. Federer is 16-1 in US Open 3R matches with his lone defeat in this round coming in his 2000 debut (l. to Ferrero).
