A 5-piece band with rich, layered vocals, authentic, vintage organ and gui- tar chops and a selection of the very best music of the 60's, 70's and 80's. With 3 lead vocalists, this band keeps the crowd's interest! The various members of Perfect Crime fell in love with Classic Rock before it was classic. All have played with a number of Boston area rock bands including Major Disturbance, Ground F/X, The Phantoms, American Standard, The Avengers and others. Notoriously finding each other amidst the intrigue of the greater Boston music scene, these Perfect Criminals find that apart they may have been good, but together they are great. They share a mission to promote the practice and appreciation of classic rock and high potency original music to a waiting legion of fans. Band interests include music, art, drama and intrigue. Hobbies include solving the Isabella Stewart Gardner art theft, finding the cash from the Brinks job and figuring out Where's Waldo? Logistics Perfect Crime has everything needed to fulfill venues both large and small. The band has full PA and monitor systems and lighting equipment. The band can provide their own sound engineer for live performances. Each band member meticulously maintains their high-quality guitars, keyboards and percussion equipment. With a versatile set that compliments the varied talents of the three lead vocalists, the music engages audiences of all ages and genders. Their primary focus is on well known classic rock songs that appeal to a large audience, along with a few high-energy originals with timeless appeal. Perfect Crime www.perfectcrimeband.com [email protected] 978-621-3310 617-319-1901 Band Bios David Scaltreto— Bass, Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals David has been a fixture on the Boston music scene since the 70's, playing in such acts as Loose Change, EMF, The Phantoms and other bands. His band, Major Disturbance, was a favorite of late 70's/early 80's DJ's, and David's original songs, Baby You're Gone, Sacrifice and Nasty, received significant airplay. Major Disturbance was a favorite of the classic rock clubs The Rat, The Channel, Bun- ratty's, Chet's Last Call and other clubs. Since Major Disturbance disbanded in 1984, David has played with The Risen, Ringin' in the Ears and other bands. He is excited about Perfect Crime and working with such accomplished veteran rock- ers. Dawn Evans Scaltreto— Piano, Organ, Synthesizer, Harmonica, Percussion, Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals A classically trained vocalist and organist, Dawn loves to bring out the edge with layered vocals, growling keyboard dynamics evocative of Deep Purple and other 70's Hammond B3 greats, with a splash of rolling honky-tonk piano to play a full range of classic rock hits. While working in '82 in the all girl act, The Avengers, she met David Scaltreto, and later joined his project, Major Disturbance. In recent years, playing with classic rock bands The Risen and Ringin' in the Ears, Dawn looks forward to rocking Boston and beyond with Perfect Crime. She is a professional artist and illustrator in her day job. Jimmy Honohan—Rhythm Guitar, Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals Jimmy brings with him more than 30 years of professional singing and playing experience. He has performed with many well-known bands throughout the Boston area such as GroundFX and The Bunker Hill Billies. Jimmy’s ballad-worthy vocals breathe new life into classics by Roy Orbison, Bob Seger, Van Morrison and John Mellencamp, among other artists. Jimmy provides outstanding back- ing harmonies and holds down the rhythm section playing both acoustic and electric guitars. Brian McNamara—Drums, Percussion, Backing Vocals Brian brings with him more than 25 years of playing experience in Boston area bands. He has played with such acts as GroundFX, Pressed For Time, American Standard and Gryphon. Brian drives the band with his unique left handed playing techniques and adds backing vocals to fill out the band’s sound. His outstanding chops bring an authentic and dynamic classic rock solidity to all the band’s music. Mike Onessimo—Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Sound Engineer and Special Effects To round things off, Mike brings with him more than 25 years of guitar playing experience. Mike is also no stranger to the Boston area rock scene, playing with such bands as I.O. F., GroundFX, Head Unit, American Standard, and Pressed for Time. In the past Mike has opened for such bands as James Montgomery Band, and Digney Fignus. Mike provides masterful guitar work and is responsible for the lead guitar sound of the band. With his engineering background Mike helps ensure the overall excellence of the sound quality and mixing.
