The 2015–17 Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Systemwide Passenger Survey was conducted by the Central Transportation Planning Staff (CTPS) of the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to meet this requirement and to obtain additional information useful for planning purposes. This report describes the methodology used by CTPS to conduct the survey and process the results. Major findings of the survey are summarized. Results at a more detailed level are available online at www.ctps.org/apps/mbtasurvey2018/.
