Untitled Document Knitting Green! PDX Inexplicable Knitting Scavenger Hunt Many of Portland's Earth Day events are on April 19th so the dates for our contest are the 19th and then the 22nd. On the 19th, our mission is to take our Socks in Progress and contribute to one of the many cleanup activities throughout the greater Portland metro area. Each one of these is worth five points. We have had a pin made especially for our Portland Knitting Inexplicableness. Anyone with five points receives a pin. Here is a link to Earth Day events: www.livepdx.com Or Google Earth Day 2008 PDX On the 22nd, our mission will be about celebrating our very green city and her surroundings. Socks in Progress visit and celebrate the green that is the Pacific Northwest. It needs to be you and your Sock in Progress or just your Sock in Progress. Note: on some of these, there is an extra point awarded for you and your sock so please look for them. You can post your photos here: (flickr account) username: pondscumstr password: rockinsock57 Rules 1. All pictures must be taken with a Sock in Progress. 2. All pictures must be taken on April 19th or 22nd. 3. All pictures must be on your camera to show to Team Blue Moon at the event where (as in Bingo) they will see if you've won a prize (like you think you have won a prize). file:///C|/Development/Clients/webmastering/Blue%20Moon%20Fiber%20Arts/documents/Inexplicable-Knitting.html (1 of 3)4/22/2008 1:56:01 PM Untitled Document 4. It's up to you to add up your points and tell us what you have so print this out, check off what you've got, and bring it with you so you can do the math. 5. Please don't hurt yourself, break any laws, or upset anyone in your pursuit of inexplicable knit pics. (Any more than handing them a sock and taking their picture is going to disarm them) 6. On a map of the city, mark the location where each photo was taken. Scavenger Hunt prizes have been donated by: Abundant Yarn and Dyeworks Twisted Blue Moon Fiber Arts Inc.
