However they shall be completed in conformance with the permanent alignment geometry as shown on the Design Builder’s approved design plans. Table SCD-2b represents the Phase 2 West project area interim milestone completion dates required for the itemized specific project traffic movement features. All features included in this interim milestone shall be completed on or before the project completion dates provided by the Design-Builder. The Design-Builder is informed that the Completion Date for Contract D263208 is December 31, 2019. For this reason, the Design-Builder is informed that the Phase 2, West project area is not available to commence with physical construction until January 1, 2020 for the purpose of computing and tendering the Design-Builder’s proposal. Subsequent to award, segments of the West Area may become available for physical construction prior to January 1, 2020. Should the Design-Builder desire to enter the West Area prior to January 1, 2020, the Design-Builder will be required to provide a detailed plan to the Department’s Project Manager that demonstrates coordination with the contractor’s operations for D263208 is possible without unreasonably disrupting said contractor. The Design-Builder shall not commence with any work in the Phase 2 West Area without prior written approval by the Department’s Project Manager and written agreement as to the modifications required to Durations and Milestone Completion Dates in Table 2b from the Design-Builder’s Proposal.
