(5 Offense, 13 Defense, 3 Special Teams) Other Returners: 36 Total Wyoming Junior Brett Smith Enters 2013 Season Tied for Longest Current (19 Offense, 16 Defense, 1 Special Teams) FBS Streak in Terms of Most Passes Attempted Without Throwing an 2013 Signings: 23 Total Wyoming junior quarterback Brett Smith enters the 2013 season having not (10 Offense, 12 Defense, 1 Special Teams) Interception: thrown an interception in his last 174 pass attempts, dating back to Oct. 1, 2012, when his last 2013 Coaching Staff seven pass attempts versus Fresno State began his streak. Smith is tied with Central Florida’s Blake Bortles for the longest current streak entering the Head Coach: Dave Christensen 2013 season. (Western Washington ‘85) Smith is chasing former Wyoming quarterback Casey Bramlet for the all-time Mountain West record of 178 pass attempts without throwing an interception. Offensive Coaching Staff In 2012, Colby Cameron of Louisiana Tech set the NCAA record for the longest streak Asst. Head Coach/Co-Off. Coordinator/RBs: for most passes attempted without throwing an interception for a career. That streak was 444 Pete Kaligis (Washington ‘94) consecutive pass attempts and began Dec. 21, 2011 (vs. TCU) and ran until Nov. 17, 2012 (vs. Utah Co-Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line: State). Cameron also set the NCAA single-season record in 2012, attempting 428 passes without Jim Harding (Toledo ‘01) throwing an interception.
