Sub: Violation of provisions of MCDR, 2017 in respect of Bhavanipuram Limestone mine-II over an area of 73.93 ha in Mahankaligudem village, Huzurnagar Mandal & Suryapet District, Telangana State. Sir, The following provisions of Mineral Conservation and Development Rules, 2017 were found violated in your above mine during the inspection on 01.09.2017 by Sri A.V.Ramesh Kumar, Assistant Mining Geologist in the presence of Sri D.Kalyan Chakravarthy, Chief Manager(Mines). Rule Nature of Violation No. No holder of a mining lease shall commence or carry out mining operations in any area except in accordance with the mining plan approved, modified or reviewed by the Indian Bureau of Mines or prepared and certified in accordance with the system established by the State Government pursuant to the proviso to clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 5 11(1) Mining operations are not carried out in accordance with the proposals given in the modified mining plan approved vide letter no. AP/NLG/MP/LST-47/HYD dated 31.08.2015 to the extent indicated below : “It was proposed to produce 11,13,099 tonnes during the year 2016-17 and the production reported was 14,30,000 tonnes for the said year.” 02. In this connection, it is brought to your notice that the above said violations constitute an offence punishable under Rule-62 of MCDR, 2017. 03. You are advised to rectify the above violations immediately and intimate the position to this office within 45 (forty five) days from the date of issue of this letter.
