Visit Palacio dos Bettencourt and the Azores Cathedral. Other stops will be the public garden, the Old Square and the Marina de Angra do Heroismo with a view to the Fortress of S. John the Baptist. Lunch will be served in Serretinha for lunch in a local restaurant. Afterwards, continue to Porto Judeu and stop at Peter Francisco parish. We will have the opportunity to visit the church where he was baptized and the surroundings. 7:30 PM Welcome Dinner This evening, enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant with your travel companions. On the West side of the Island , visit São Mateus, a fisherman’s village and Cinco Ribeiras to visit Queijo Vaquinha factory. Continue to Doze Ribeiras, Lagoa das Patas and Lagoa do Negro. After lunch in Altares visit Biscoitos and the swimming area. On your way back to Angra stop at the Algar do Carvão Caves.
