Accommodation is limited to one group per day, allowing guests to spend time leisurely in their own private space. It is equipped with air conditioning and heating, floor heating, and the baths feature cypress wood bathtubs supplied with natural water. The program at the old private house offers guests commentary about the food culture of Ichinoseki mochi rice cake and a hands-on experience pounding dough for the mochi rice cakes. Also, if requested, the facility can make arrangements for Nanbu Kagura Shinto music performances and handle other requests. For a pestle, a “Senbongine,” or a long pestle which can be held by several people, is used. There are also mallets and pestles which children can use, and mochi dough pounding is a popular attraction at children’s group meetings and local events.
