Tied with Fran Dunphy, who coached at Penn, as the second winningest coach in Ivy League history. His 169 Ivy wins are also the third most in league history. • Has guided Yale to three Ivy League championships – 2002, 2015, 2016. • Ivy League and NABC District 13 Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2016 • In 2015-16, led the Bulldogs to the most successful season in school history. Yale won 23 games, the most since 1906-07, captured a second straight Ivy League title with a 13-1 record, matching the 1961-62 team for the best in school history, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fi rst time in 54 years where the Bulldogs upset Baylor to earn the fi rst NCAA Tournament victory in school history. • In 2014-15, guided the Bulldogs to 22 wins and a share of the Ivy title. One of the victories came over defending national champion UConn, just the second time an Ivy League team knocked off a defending NCAA champion. • Under his leadership, Yale has a remarkable 42-14 Ivy League record over the last four years. • Has led Yale to four postseason appearances – 2016 NCAA Tournament, 2014 and 2012 CollegeInsider.com Tournament, 2002 NIT. • Bulldogs have won at least 10 Ivy games four times during his tenure and have had a fourth-place or better fi nish in the Ivy League for 18 straight seasons. • In 2001-02, Jones led the Bulldogs to their fi rst Ivy title since 1962-63 and the fi rst postseason victory in school his- tory. Earned master’s in educational administration from Albany in 1995.
