Citation These regulations are the Electricity Transmission Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2006. 2. Commencement (1) These regulations come into operation at the time at which the first trading day under the market rules commences. (2) In subregulation (1) — “market rules” means the market rules made under the Electricity Industry Act 2004 Part 9. Note: The market rules require the Minister for Energy to publish in the Gazette the time at which the first trading day commences. 3. The regulations amended The amendments in these regulations are to the Electricity Transmission Regulations 1996*. [* Reprint 2 as at 2 June 2006.] 4. Regulation 3 amended Regulation 3(1) is amended as follows: (a) by deleting the definitions of “market member”, “wholesale electricity market commencement” and “wholesale electricity market participant”; (b) after the definition of “voltage control” by deleting the semicolon and inserting instead a full stop. 3498 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 25 August 2006 5. Regulation 18A inserted Before regulation 19 the following regulation is inserted in Part 4 — “ 18A. Application of Part modified for wholesale electricity market (1) In this regulation — “market rules” means the market rules made under the Electricity Industry Act 2004 Part 9; “wholesale electricity market commencement” means the time at which the first trading day under the market rules commences. (2) After wholesale electricity market commencement this Part (other than regulation 24) does not apply to, or in relation to, a user if the user’s access agreement relates to any part of the South West interconnected system. ”. 6. Regulation 19 amended Regulation 19(1a) is repealed. 7. Regulation 20 amended (1) Regulation 20(1a) is repealed. (2) Regulation 20(1) is amended in the definition of “Prices and Charges Paper” as follows: (a) by deleting “, in relation to a corporation,”; (b) by deleting “the corporation” and inserting instead — “ the Regional Power Corporation ”. (3) After regulation 20(1) the following subregulation is inserted — “ (1a) In the case of the electricity transmission network operated by the Electricity Networks Corporation, the loss factor for a particular connection or a connection of a particular class, is the loss factor (as defined in the market rules made under the Electricity Industry Act 2004 Part 9) for that connection or class. ”. (4) Regulation 20(2) is amended by deleting “The” and inserting instead — “ In the case of any electricity transmission network operated by the Regional Power Corporation, the ”. 25 August 2006 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 3499 (5) Regulation 20(4) and (7) are amended by deleting “A corporation” and inserting instead — “ The Regional Power Corporation ”. (6) Regulation 20(6) is amended by deleting “a corporation —” and inserting instead — “ the Regional Power Corporation — ”. 8. Regulation 22 amended Regulation 22(1a) and (1aa) are repealed. 9. Regulation 23 amended Regulation 23(1a) and (1aa) are repealed. 10. Regulation 24 amended Regulation 24(1aa) is repealed. 11. Regulation 25 amended Regulation 25(1a) and (1aa) are repealed. 12.
