TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT TRAFFIC UPDATES ON MRT CONSTRUCTION ALONG PERSIARAN SURIAN 11 DECEMBER 2014 Date 13 Dec 2014 - 31 Dec 2014 Time 12 midnight to 6:00am Duration 21 days Reason To facilitate segmental launching, concreting and dismantling of portal truss Lane closure for a stretch of 450m from IPC Shopping Centre to the intersection of PJU 7/1 next to the Surian Underpass (Kota Damansara-bound) and closure of Jalan PJU 7/8 intersection with Persiaran Surian will be implemented from 13 December 2014 – 31 December 2014 from 12 midnight to 6:00am. The following diversions will take place: Motorists from LDP Highway wanting to turn right into Jalan PJU 7/8 and motorists from Kota Damansara wanting to turn left into Jalan PJU 7/8 Motorists will be diverted to turn into Jalan PJU 7/1 and make a right turn at the traffic light next to Tesco into Jalan PJU 7/4, then right into Jalan PJU 7/2. (see red arrow) Motorists from Jalan PJU 7/1 wanting to go to LDP-Highway Motorists will exit Jalan PJU 7/1 on to Persiaran Surian, turn right and drive ahead to make a U-turn at Palm Spring Condo to access the Underpass to exit to LDP Highway. (see green arrow) Motorists from Jalan PJU 7/8 wanting to exit to Persiaran Surian Motorists will be diverted to make a U-turn at the roundabut behind Surian Tower and turn left into PJU 7/1 and exit to Persiaran Surian where they can make a U-turn at Palm Spring Condo to access the Underpass to exit to LDP Highway. (see blue arrow) Motorists on PJU 7/1 exiting into Persiaran Surian (Kota Damansara-bound) will not be affected. *Currently, there are two closures being implemented in front of Pelangi Damansara to the traffic light junction at Jalan PJU 3/31 (12 Dec -18 Dec 2014) and full road closure for a stretch of 360m from Surian Condo until the junction of Jalan PJU 7/1 near Mutiara Damansara Residences (LDP Highway-bound) and closure of Surian Underpass (Sungai Buloh-bound) (12 Dec 2014 – 22 Dec 2014.
