WBC TO PICKET PENTATONIX AT KANSAS CITY’S STARLIGHT THEATRE! TUESDAY, AUGUST 13TH, FROM 6:30 – 7:15 PM Pentatonix is an American a capella singing group, who has won a couple of Grammy awards and came in third place on NBC’s The Sing-Off. They have somewhat of a following. According to media reports it’s no secret that two of the members, Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi, are openly gay, and the group vocally supports the LGBT community. WBC therefore has need to share scripturally sound words with the group and their followers by peacefully standing outside their performance with signs declaring God’s power, glory and almighty word (standard). In doing so members of WBC hope to be counted faithful as was Noah in the days before the great flood. WBC’s preaching, like Noah’s in the antediluvian world, saved his own house, condemned the world with preaching and he became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Members of WBC are similarly moved by the Spirit with fear to tell our neighbors of things not yet seen and prophesies that are yet to unfold. Sadly, like those days, many do not heed the word and will perish in their sins. The sin of sodomy is deadly. It is soul damning. Come out, any who fear, and be ye separate (2 Corinthians 6:17). Go with us, the way is good. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7) And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD. And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? ... And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake. And he said, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake. And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place. (Genesis 18:20-24, 31-33) We all know how the story ended. REPENT OR PERISH .
