WE LIVE UNITED ANNUAL REPORT 2014-2015 From the CEO... Dear Friends: What a great year this has been for United Way and it has been a pleasure to serve first as Interim Executive Director and now as President/CEO. I cannot say thank you enough to the United Way staff, Board of Directors and all of the United Way volunteers. Our campaign theme for 2014-2015, “Become a Part of our Story,” highlighted how United Way had positively impacted so many in our community. From donors, community partners, volunteers and the business community, it was fun to hear them tell their United Way “story”. The campaign, under the leadership of Billy Browning, Susan Yarrow, along with the entire Campaign cabinet was a great success as was our 12th annual Home Sweet Home raffle. Tracie Fowler, CEO In any community, education, income and health are the building blocks for opportunity. Education is essential to getting and keeping a job with a wage that can sustain a family and has health benefits. An income that can cover today and save for tomorrow builds a family’s solid foundations. Good health helps children stay on track at school and adults be productive at work The money raised from these two campaigns will continue to support initiatives designed to improve education, provide financial stability for families and promote healthy lifestyles. While I am proud of our work in the community, there is much more to be accomplished. The United Way can only be successful with the continued support of a caring community. Thank you for your continued generosity and I hope we can continue to count on you to make next year even better.
