National Service Scheme Polytechnic in Agricultural Engineering, Anand Agricultural University, Muvaliya Farm, Dahod-389160 (Gujarat) A Report on Martyr’s Day (Shaheed Diwas) 23rd March, 2021 Major Outcomes of Event: Students became aware about Martyr’s day. Students learnt the importance of social distancing. Students learnt about their fundamental duties. Every year 23 march is observed and celebrated as “Shaheed Diwas” with great passion and unity across India. The NSS Unit of Polytechnic in Agricultural Engineering, AAU, Muvaliya Farm, Dahod and Nehru Yuva Kendra, Dahod had jointly organized “Shaheed Diwas” is celebrated in remembrance of the three revolutionaries of India who were hanged to death by the British namely Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar. This day is widely celebrated across India to honor these men who lost their lives serving mother India. In the beginning Mr. Ajit Jain, Youth Coordinator, NYK, Dahod welcome all the dignitaries, students, NSS volunteers and staff members. The students of PAE,AAU,Dahod and Javjeevan College, Dahod who were interested in Speech and event. It was very interacting speech with a good response from students. We have arranged competition in which judges gave 3 ranks in every event to students who participated in events. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Sachin S. Chinchorkar, NSS Programme Officer extended to the Dignitaries, Faculty, Participants and NSS volunteers remained presence this seminar and prepared the guideline for the successful completion of this event. The event was organized with the support and guidance from Dr.M.M.Trivedi, Principal, PAE, AAU, Dahod. .
